Absolutely not.
Its just a SWORD, curved in a Japanese samurai fashion.

Honeslty there are so many better looke ones out there. I liek gore blades, And Katanas look horriable, a long peice of metal. Common ..
So what if they light and strong.

They are like my least favorit weapon of them all, i would rather use a wood club then one.

Rather have a bulky weapon then a little blade, a blunt blow would do more damage anyways. A little slash wont do much.

Katana is weak, it was made for slicing and slashing, not for blocking. Wouldn't be great for sword-fights.
But the Gladius is the best weapon ever.
A Katana can't block, it would easily break on impact of another blade.
A gladius is light and strong, able to break bones and armor. So...
Katana < Gladius.

Gladius is actually bulky as hell, its weight is that of a sledge hammers.. I know i picked one up before x.x

Katana's Dont break easily.. Ever watched Myth Buster's?
they've tried to break one.. all that happens is that it gets a bit nicked.. katanas have folded steel [about 1,000+ times] which makes it alot stronger than the older ones.. and katanas are very good at attack.

I personally like giant swords.

Katanas are only for speed and hacking. A cut from a katana barley does any damage. If you wear armor, then it might not do ANY damage at all.

Kisame's sword on the other hand, is awesome. Peeps who use giant swords are like, "Wewt imma hack you with mai sword." No one ever thought about Shredding, until Jaws had a son. My Updated Charecter might have a Dragonscale sword.
